We started our little hobby farm in 2018. My husband wanted a couple of weed eaters so I figured we should get some with a purpose. After researching I fell in love with the Nigerian Dwarf. Not only do they have some of the creamiest milk that taste similar to cow's milk but since they are smaller than a standard size goat they are the perfect little package PLUS they come in a variety of pretty colors! I started off with buying whatever I could find, a couple non registered and some registered. But now we are focusing on wanting to provide not only pretty colors, but good quality as well. So we are starting on milk test in 2021 and are hoping to also participate in Linear Appraisal once it's available. Our goal is to breed friendly goats that make great pets, provide lots of milk, and show well in the ring.
