All babies will be bottle fed and should leave by 3 weeks of age. An additional $10 per week will be added to the asking price if picked up after 3 weeks or if the Buyer wants them to stay until weaning age of 8 weeks(so price will be up to $50 over the asking price). We do not mind holding goats until weaning but we do offer an incentive for those who are willing to take the babies earlier on, which in turn helps lessen our workload.
-
-
People on the waiting list will be notified prior to advertising to be given first choice. They will be given 24 hours to respond if interested or not(if no response we will just move onto the next person on the list). NEW RULES FROM ADGA FOR REGISTERED BUCKLINGS BORN 2024 AND AFTER: DNA testing will be mandatory before any of the buckling's offspring can be registered through ADGA. Although DNA typing is not required prior to registration of the buck himself, for ease of convenience to our buyers we will pull hair samples and provide them with the buckling's online application for registration at time of pickup. Please click on this link to access the website and follow the instructions on how to submit his sample: https://adga.org/temporary-solution-submitting-dna-requests/

USDA Approved 840-ID Official Microchip is available for an additional $10 per kid. Why microchip? All ADGA registered goats must be tattooed. And although babies will still need tattooed, if they are microchipped as well they will never need re-tattooed once the tattoo fades. For those who may want to show their goats or have their goats Linear Appraised, the microchip can be read in place of a tattoo.
